WebMar 1, 2024 · The advantage of ping is that it’s a really short command to type, but the downside it’s that it only tests networking connecting over ICMP. It doesn’t do any tracing or port testing. Most of the time we need to combine the ping command with tracert and nslookup to get all the details we need. Web-f : Flood ping. For every ECHO_REQUEST sent a period ''.'' is printed, while for ever ECHO_REPLY received a backspace is printed. This provides a rapid display of how many packets are being dropped. If interval is not given, it sets interval to zero and outputs packets as fast as they come back or one hundred times per second, whichever is more.
