To reach the car park, turn onto Summit Road from Evans Pass and continue to the end of the road. Toilets. Taylors Mistake beach; Godley Head carpark; Dogs. Dogs are allowed on the walkway but they must be on a lead. WebMy tramping club only does full day hikes so we start from the clock tower at Scarborough and tramp over Whitewash Head to Taylors - making it a 5 hr RT. You could get the Purple Bus from the city to Scarborough & start from there (or hitch hike to Taylors Mistake if you want a shorter walk.
