Gpupdate force takes a long time
WebMay 20, 2024 · UPDATE: Separate to this, I've had a breakthrough with domain users complaining about longer login times in general, from a fresh boot. After clearing as much of their temp files as possible in Appdata\Local\Temp, and restarting the PC, login times were cut by about 80%-90%!!! If anyone is having similar issues, you may want to try that.

Frankly, there are probably few cases where you’ll use this parameter, since if your GP processing is taking 10 minutes, you have bigger problems!
