Web28 Dec 2024 · I've recently installed a ht18 turbo to my NA blacktop GQ and am now upgrading to a 3" exhaust but the supposedly direct bolt on system aligns directly with the hoop/crossmember under the tailshaft. Is this crossmember stock? Is it required, can I cut it or should I be looking for a new exhaust... These shafts are supported by the thrust block, intermediate bearings and the sterntube bearing.
